Throughout December 2020, Berkness will be adding photos taken in the Vale of Berkeley in winters past and present.
A new photo will be added almost daily to bring you a festive mood whilst celebrating the local sights. Each photo of the first week is included below, most recent first.
A fairy light house on Lynch Road...
This image with its picket fence and the shape of the house reminds me of American folk paintings.
The promising sunset colours never transpired so I might be back to snap this one again.
A new work of art in Berkeley....
This display took the tree climber from K.A.D Total Tree Care over 7 hours to install 2000 LEDs on 200 metres of wire!
Watch out for other colours and various light sequences to fit the mood.

I hear they didn’t stay around in Berkeley for long – something about not liking the warmth of the place.

These lovely lanterns come out year after year and still look fantastic!
Great to see Santa getting his eyes tested in Berkeley...
He will be so well prepared for his busy month ahead. Though I don’t suppose spectacles are much help half way down a chimney!
